French striker Alexandre Lacazette has confirmed that he will stay at Lyon for the foreseeable future, despite interest from several Premier League clubs.
The 29-year-old forward, who joined the club in 2015 from Arsenal, has scored 74 goals in 166 appearances for the French Ligue 1 side.
"I am very happy to have been able to play for such a great team like Lyon and I want to stay," Lacazette told the club's official website.
"Of course, it is always nice to hear good news about my future but I don't think it will affect my performance on the pitch."
Lyon are currently second in the league table, five points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, with two matches remaining.
Despite their current form, Lacazette has played a key role in the club's success this season, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.
He was also named in France's squad for next month's World Cup in Russia, where he will be hoping to help his country reach the semi-finals.
Lacazette's commitment to the club comes as Lyon face a tough challenge in the coming weeks, as they look to secure their place in Europe's top four.
But the forward is confident that he can continue to contribute to the team's success, even if he does not win a trophy himself.
"I'm just here to help the team, whether we win or lose," he said.
"It's important to work hard and give everything you've got."
